IT’S OFFICIAL, WE’RE NOW IN THE FINAL STRETCH OF 2020!

Thank goodness! As corporate legal professionals know quite well, every year-end can be stressful. It is imperative to allow for sufficient time to process your filings, when holidays, weather and the end of the calendar year create roadblocks. Timing is key when it comes to avoiding costly year-end errors. To help you prepare, we’ve compiled the following year-end holiday closing schedule.

Trick of the Trade:

Most states allow a corporation or LLC docs to provide a future effective date on the filing which may be the holiday date or any other future date within 30 days.
