Apostille Certificate Service

What exactly is an Apostille Certificate Service?

An apostille is simply a form of specialized certificate provided by Secretaries of State.  The Apostille seal that is affixed to your original document that authenticates either (a) a notary public’s signature, or (b) the particular certified document.  Apostilles are accepted only by the over 100 countries who are members of the Hague Convention.

All 50 secretaries of state and the Federal Government’s Department of State Office of Authentication issue Apostilles, though the process may be a little tricky.

When the destination country is not a member of the Hague Convention, documents must be legalized by the destination country’s consulate.  China is one of those countries that require legalization rather than an apostille.  Legalization is a much more time-consuming process to maneuver.  But, Velawcity knows how to get it done.

Velawcity Legal Support Services offers expert Apostille and legalization services.  Let us help you expedite obtaining an Apostille certificate or maneuvering the legalization process!
